How a booking works

There are two routes, and they feel quite different from the client's side.

Through an agency

An agency holds a selected list of escorts, knows each of them personally, and arranges the booking. The client describes what is wanted and the agency suggests who fits. For a first booking this is the easier route by some distance: the awkward questions are answered by someone whose job it is to answer them, and the escort has been interviewed in person by the people making the recommendation.

Through a directory

A directory publishes profiles with photographs, rates and a direct contact method. The client chooses and contacts the escort himself. It is faster, it gives more control over who is chosen, and it puts the whole arrangement in the client's hands, including the initial conversation.

What actually happens, in order

1. Look properlyPhotographs, profile text, rate, languages, location and what the escort says he enjoys. The text is worth reading rather than skimming: it usually reveals more about whether an evening will be comfortable than the photographs do.
2. Make contactA short message giving a rough date, a rough duration and a rough location. Not a life story, and no need to explain the reason for booking. Most agencies and escorts reply within hours.
3. Settle the detailsDate, time, length, where, and the total including travel. Anything that matters should be said now, including anything that is definitely not wanted. That conversation is routine at this end of the industry and nobody will be surprised by it.
4. ConfirmA short exchange the day before is normal. Some escorts ask for a deposit where significant travel is involved; that is reasonable and is usually the only money that changes hands in advance.
5. The bookingThe escort arrives at the agreed time. The fee is handed over or left visible at the start. The first part of the evening is almost always conversation, whatever else was arranged.
6. AfterwardsNothing is required. A short message is normal if the client wants to book again, and most escorts will send one either way.

Incall and outcall

Outcall means the escort travels to the client, at home or at a hotel, and is by far the more common arrangement for male escorts in Britain. Incall means the client travels to the escort. Where an incall is offered, the location is usually given only once the booking is confirmed.

Length

One hour is the minimum most escorts will take, and a good many set their minimum at two. Longer bookings tend to be better for everyone: an hour that includes arriving, talking and leaving is a short hour. Dinner bookings of four or five hours and overnight arrangements are ordinary and are usually quoted as a flat figure rather than by the hour.

What is not part of it

Nothing is promised in advance about what happens physically. Rates are quoted for time and company. Whatever else occurs is decided by two adults in private, and any listing that reads like a menu is describing something the site itself cannot deliver.
