Etiquette
None of it is enforced and none of it is complicated. It is what makes a booking comfortable rather than stilted.
None of this is enforced and none of it is complicated. It is simply what makes a booking comfortable rather than stilted, and most of it is the same courtesy that would apply to any other appointment.
Before
- Say what is wanted, including anything that is definitely not wanted. Vagueness is the main cause of a disappointing evening.
- Agree the total, including travel, before confirming. Raising money on the night is uncomfortable for both people.
- Give a working number and answer it. An escort who cannot reach a client before travelling will often not travel.
- Cancel with notice if plans change. Late cancellation costs an escort an evening he has turned other work away for, and most will simply decline a future booking.
Arriving
- Have the fee ready, in cash, in an envelope, somewhere visible. Nothing needs to be said about it.
- Offer a drink and sit down. The first twenty minutes are conversation in almost every booking, and rushing them is the commonest complaint escorts make.
- Be clean and reasonably sober. This is asked of the escort and it is asked of the client.
During
- Say what is wanted rather than hoping it will be guessed. Escorts read situations well and still cannot read minds.
- Treat any boundary as final. An escort who has said no to something has said no to it, and pressing is the fastest way to end a booking.
- Do not photograph or record anything. This ends bookings immediately and reasonably.
- Do not ask for a real name, an address or details of other clients. None of it will be given and the question changes the atmosphere.
Ending
- Bookings end at the agreed time. Extensions are possible if the escort has the time and are paid for at the same rate.
- A short message afterwards is normal and welcome. There is no expectation of one.
- Feedback, where a platform invites it, is genuinely valuable to an escort and takes two minutes.
What is expected of the escort
The conventions run in both directions. An escort is expected to arrive on time, in the condition the profile suggests, with the photographs bearing an honest resemblance to the person, and to give the booking his whole attention. Where that does not happen, the agency or directory should be told; it is the mechanism that keeps the standard up.
The one thing that matters most
Honesty about what the evening is meant to be. A client who wants conversation and company, and books on that basis, gets a good evening. A client who wants that but asks for something else because it seems less embarrassing gets a worse one. Nothing on the list of ordinary reasons for booking an escort is embarrassing to the person being booked.
